The players receive three hole cards, and then the community cards are dealt the same as Holdem.      In Crazy Pineapple, which you can find being dealt on the net, players can see the flop with all three hole cards in their hand. Then, they decide which hole card to discard. Once one card has been discarded, play proceeds as in Texas Hold'em.      The extra hole card you receive, coupled with being able to see the flop, gives you more chances to create a strong hand.
