Guts Poker
Guts Poker is a three card poker game. Because there are only three cards, the rankings are different
than most poker hand rankings.
Highest to Lowest
- Straight Flush
- Three-of-a-Kind
- Straight
- Flush
- One Pair

The game is very simple. Each player is dealt three cards. You must decide to either play the
cards, or fold the hand. All players decide at the same time.
If you play your cards and win the hand, you win the pot. If you lose the hand, you must
replinish the chips in the pot from your own chip stack, or basically 'match the pot'. So, with that in mind,
it often takes 'Guts' to play your cards when the pot is large.
There are two varieties of Gus being played online. They are Monte Carlo Guts, and Survivor Guts.
In Monte Carlo Guts all losing players must match the pot. In Survivor Guts, only the
lowest losing hand must match the pot. Sometimes Survivor Guts is referred to as'middle men slide' because only the lowest hand
is held resposible for replenishing the pot.

Superior Poker -
offers two kinds of Guts Poker games. They have Monte Carlo (everyone matches the pot) and Survivor (only the lowest hand matches the pot). There are
both play and real money tables, and the house places a limit on matching the pot (differs by table).
For instance, if the limit is $25, even though the pot may be
$35, losing hands would only have to ante $25 for the next round.
