Seven Card Stud Poker
7 Card Stud is another basic poker game. Much like the very popular Texas Hold'em, almost
all online poker rooms have tables dealing 7 Card Stud games.
For anyone who hasn't played Stud Poker, the rules are simple. You are
dealt two hole cards, face down and one card face up. Then the betting rounds begin. The next
three cards are dealt face up. The final, seventh card is dealt face down.
Players then use their best five cards to make the strongest hand possible.
Unlike Hold'em and Omaha, there are no community cards. The only cards you can use are those that have been dealt to you.
7 Card Stud seems to be the Stud Poker game of choice on the net. There are plenty of tables dealing both free games
and money games with many different betting ranges and limits.
Empire Poker -
has tables dealing a lot of different games. 7 Card Stud is one of them. Becuase the room is so popular, finding a game here shouldn't be that difficult.
Their table limits start with nickel ante games and go up from there.
Planet Poker -
is another room that offers nickel ante 7 Card Stud games. Of course at some tables the betting limits reach as high as most people want to
take them.
The room draws a pretty good crowd, and finding a game should be easy enough.
Poker Room -
deals 7 Card Stud games. One of the great things about this room is that it is a no download room. You play right from the website,
without having to download any programs.
Party Poker -
deals 7 Card Stud as well as their community card poker games. The house is almost always full, so the chances are good that you'll
be able to find a game.
The limits at the 7 Card Stud tables reach down to nickel ante poker at Party Poker.
